Since 2001 assisted buyers as counsel in around 40 price reviews (including index adjustment disputes and price and volume adjustment based on competition law) as well as transit disputes. In this period, he has represented and/or advised clients in around 20 arbitrations, mostly international arbitrations under the ICC Rules and the SCC Rules. In addition, he has been involved in German and Norwegian ad hoc arbitration. The relevant agreements have been governed by Norwegian, Swedish, German, Swiss and Austrian law respectively. Currently lead counsel to Ukrainian Naftogaz in its gas disputes with Gazprom.
Extensive experience from work on electricity interconnectors, including the NORNED cable project and the Viking cable project.
