General Arbitration Experience
Acted as arbitrator, including as chairman, mostly in ad hoc arbitrations but also institutionalised (ICC and SCC) in Norway, Sweden and Singapore in disputes under Norwegian, Swedish and English law regarding shipbuilding and ship conversion contracts, insurance policies and charteparties.
Acted as counsel in Norwegian arbitrations regarding bills of lading, war risk insurance and pooling agreements.
Instructed London and New York counsel as professional client in numerous ad hoc arbitrations (according to LMAA and SMA rules) regarding shipbuilding contracts, FPSO conversions, a LNG production project, marine insurance policies, charterparties and agency issues.
Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SiAarb), individual member of the Singapore Chamber of Marine Arbitration (SCMA) and supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA).
